Metamorphosis
Curated by: Tracy Longley-Cook
Dates: August 1, 2026 – October 9, 2026
The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery presents Metamorphosis, an exhibition curated by Tracy Longley-Cook. This exhibition will run from August 1 through October 9, 2026, and features contemporary works of art by 12 artists who live and work in Ohio.
“Importantly, metamorphosis within this exhibition is not framed solely as growth or renewal. It also encompasses fragmentation, loss, resistance, and ambiguity. Change can be generative, but it can also be disorienting and nonlinear. By embracing this complexity, this exhibition acknowledges the nuanced realities of lived experience. The works included collectively create a dialog that moves between personal introspection and broader reflection, revealing how transformation influences the intimate and the collective.”
