The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery presents Quilt National ’25: The Best in Contemporary Quilts, produced and circulated by The Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens, Ohio. The works within the Quilt National ‘25 exhibition display a reverence for the lessons taught by heritage quilt makers. While many of the works hold fast to the traditional methods, others embrace the challenge of using new materials and technologies. These innovative works generate strong emotional responses while fulfilling the artist’s creative need to make a totally individual statement.
