This exhibition features contemporary works of art by 16 artists who live and work in Ohio.

“This exhibition centers the diverse qualities that make up the unique and rich tapestry that is Ohio, as reflected in the work of the state’s artists. Each artist is unique and creates work reflective of our state, a microcosm of the nation at large—Ohio. Our state has both a wealth of talent and a remarkable multiplicity in
styles, techniques, media, and concepts.

Artists can be found in all areas and corners of the state. There are those who are native to Ohio, transplants from other states, and new Americans, each bringing their unique experiences to the work. Artists often find inspiration from the environment in which they work—from cityscapes to villages, in urban and rural areas alike. Depictions ranging from vast fields, mountains, and ravines, to buildings and structures, evoke the many atmospheres of Ohio”
